Alliance Manchester Business School (MBS) is the business school of the University of Manchester. The 2020 Financial Times survey ranks Manchester’s MBA 5th in the UK, 11th in Europe, 45th in the world, making it a leading MBA outside of London and Oxbridge.

MBS offers 14 undergraduate programs with industrial experience, 16 postgraduate programs, and full-time flexible MBA program of 18, 15, or 12 months. The MBA program has triple accreditation by AACSB International, AMBA and EQUIS and the finance programs are partnered with CFA Institute.

MBS also offers a unique opportunity to receive an MBA from two top universities. The Kelly-Manchester Global MBA combines the world’s best online MBA teaching with immersive, face-to-face teaching twice a year at a choice of eight global locations.

Services for International Students

The University of Manchester has a full range of on-campus health facilities with doctors, nurses and dentists. All students have full access to the health centre and all health care fees are fully covered by the National Health Service for full time students.

We are offering five scholarships across the four Accounting and Finance courses with a value of £10,000 towards the cost of the tuition fee.  The scholarships will be awarded in line with our scholarship deadlines so early application is advisable.

All UK/EU applicants who hold an offer of a place to study on one of the following courses:

  • MSc Accounting
  • MSc Accounting and Finance
  • MSc Finance
  • MSc Quantitative Finance

All applicants who hold an offer will automatically be considered for a scholarship. There is no scholarship application process.

Decisions are made on merit rather than financial need. Scholarships are awarded if you:

  • Are able to demonstrate excellent academic performance
  • Are on track to obtain, or who have graduated with a 2:1 or 1st UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent
  • Have previously studied at a University with a strong academic reputation and ranking
  • Have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the Master’s programme and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the Master’s class.

You are eligible if you are an Indian resident and have received an offer to study on one of our Master’s courses by 30 April 2020.

How do I apply?

There is no scholarship application process. If you are eligible you will be automatically considered.

When are they announced?

Scholarship allocation will be made by 15 May 2020 and successful applicants will be notified on this date. Selected candidates will be required to firmly accept their offer of a place by 29 May 2020 in order to confirm their scholarship.
